The powder feeding station is mainly composed of parts such as a feeding platform, an anti-arching device, a dust removal system, and a conveying device. Its working principle is as follows:
I. Feeding stage
When powder needs to be added to the production equipment, the operator places the packaging bag containing powder on the feeding platform. The feeding platform is usually designed with a certain inclination angle to facilitate the smooth sliding of powder into the anti-arching device.
II. Anti-arching stage
Since powder may cake during storage and transportation, which affects the smoothness of discharging. Therefore, powder feeding stations are usually equipped with anti-arching devices. The anti-arching device can use methods such as mechanical vibration, pneumatic vibration, or stirring to break up and loosen caked powder to ensure that the powder can flow smoothly into the conveying device.
For example, a mechanical vibration anti-arching device generates high-frequency vibration through a motor driving a vibrator, gradually loosening the powder under the action of vibration; a pneumatic vibration anti-arching device uses the pulsed force generated by compressed air to impact the powder to achieve the anti-arching effect.
III. Conveying stage
The powder after anti-arching treatment enters the conveying device. The conveying device can choose screw conveyors, vacuum conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, etc. according to different production needs.
The screw conveyor propels the powder forward through rotating spiral blades and conveys it to the designated location; the vacuum conveyor uses the negative pressure principle to suck the powder into the pipeline and convey it to the destination; the pneumatic conveyor uses the power of compressed air to suspend the powder in the airflow for conveying.
IV. Dust removal stage
During the powder feeding process, dust will inevitably be generated. To protect the environment and the health of operators, the powder feeding station is equipped with a dust removal system.
The dust removal system is usually composed of a dust collector, a fan, and pipelines. When dust is generated, the fan sucks the dust-containing gas into the dust collector through pipelines. The dust collector can use different types such as bag filters and cartridge filters to intercept the dust through filtering materials, and the purified air is discharged into the atmosphere.
At the same time, in order to prevent excessive dust accumulation in the dust collector and affect the dust removal effect, the dust collector is also equipped with a dust cleaning device to regularly clean the filtering materials to ensure the normal operation of the dust collector.
In summary, through the collaborative work of the feeding platform, anti-arching device, conveying device, and dust removal system, the powder feeding station realizes functions such as automatic powder feeding, anti-arching, conveying, and dust removal, improving production efficiency and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the production environment.
